About me

Sarah Dennis-Shaw began her teaching career at the University of Arizona College of Education where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After teaching in a second- and third-grade combination classroom, she taught third grade in Tucson, Arizona.

In 2002, Sarah relocated to the Boston area where she cotaught in a fifth-grade inclusion classroom. She also completed a master's degree in literacy at Lesley University and certification in the Orton-Gillingham method for dyslexic students at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Sarah currently teaches in a fifth-grade inclusion classroom in Avon, Massachusetts and continues to tutor dyslexic students.
