Jason Purcell is a writer, editor, musician, and bookshop owner living and working on Treaty 6 territory in Edmonton, Alberta. His debut poetry chapbook, A Place More Hospitable (2019) was published by Anstruther Press. His poetry can be found not only in journals but also on coffee sleeves as part of the #YegWords coffee sleeve project. Jason has a BA in Comparative Literature and an MA in English. He co-owns the Glass Bookshop, located in Edmonton.
