Competition for Junior Grades [1]

Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 and those in grade 6 and Secondary 1 & 2 in Quebec are eligible to compete in The Poetry In Voice Junior Recitation Competition, which takes place in the Fall.
At every level of the competition, students’ recitations are evaluated according to our Scoring Rubric [3], our Evaluation Sheet [4], and our Accuracy Score Sheet [5]. Students, please refer to those documents and to our recitation tips [6] to help you compete successfully.
Poems recited in the junior competition must be chosen from this collection of poems for grades 6-8 [7]. Refer to our Rules & Deadlines page [8] for the full list of our rules.
