Teva Harrison was an artist, writer, and cartoonist. Her debut collection of poetry Not One of These Poems is About You, was published posthumously by House of Anansi Press in January, 2020. She was also the author of the bestselling hybrid graphic memoir In-Between Days which won the Kobo Emerging Writer Prize for Non-Fiction and was shortlisted for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction. Teva was a strong advocate for people living with chronic illness and a regular commentator on CBC, the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, and many more. Teva died of metastatic breast cancer in 2019 at age forty-two.
