Biography: 

Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Don McKay studied at the University of Western Ontario and the University of Wales. He is the winner of two Governor General’s Literary Awards for Poetry for his books Night Field and Another Gravity, and was twice shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize before winning in 2007 for his eleventh poetry collection, Strike/Slip. McKay lives in British Columbia.
