Yesterday Margaret Atwood gave our project a ringing endorsement:
“Poetry In Voice/Les voix de la poésie has become a cultural force in Canada. Tens of thousands of students have learned a poem by heart for the contest. Nothing is better than the memorizing and reciting of poems to help students understand structure and emotional force. And the poems they memorize will be with them all their lives.”
